Renowned French eyewear brand Alain Mikli just unveiled its first Italian flagship in Milan, across from the hip 10 Corso Como store.

Wooden and crystal graphic furniture, black mirrors and shiny oak parquet fill the Philippe Starck-designed space, where an extravagant chandelier assembled with 300 vintage Mikli glasses steals the limelight.

The perimeter of the store’s main selling space features an impressive selection of Alain Mikli’s colorful and unconventional glasses, while the central display case is filled with costume jewelry and a limited edition collection of 50 special frames, created to celebrate the brand’s 30th anniversary last year. The boutique also has a hidden nook for eye exams where the store manager writes prescription certificates.
