TRE CHIC: Manhattan’s social set recently hobnobbed at the launch of Tre, a fashion jewelry collection founded by Ulrica Lanaro and Lillian Stern. Guests such as Jennifer Creel and Dayssi Olarte de Kanavos packed the Upper East Side’s Scoop outpost and picked out their favorite colored cocktail ring, which are all handmade in Venetian glass.
“I’ve always loved big, bulky glass rings,” Lanaro said. “My husband’s family lived in Venice, so I appreciate the colored glass found there. Fashion has changed so much that it’s more about making a statement now rather than spending a fortune on something. They’re fun, relaxed and you don’t have to take them so seriously.”
Tre rings retail at $85 and are available at Bergdorf Goodman, Kirna Zabête and Fred Segal. Lanaro said more is to come from the line, including chunky necklaces.
