The pact covers the design, production and worldwide distribution of sunglasses and prescription frames, with the first deliveries expected in December.
Prototypes were shown alongside Lanvin’s resort collection, but the full line is to be presented in its showrooms in October after the next women’s fashion show.
De Rigo has three house brands — Police, Sting and Lozza — and licensed brands including Givenchy, Loewe, Ermenegildo Zegna, Céline, Escada, Blumarine and Carolina Herrera. The company also controls the optical retailers General Optica in Spain and Portugal; Opmar Optik in Turkey; and Boots Opticians in the U.K.
