MILAN — Canada-based footwear company Aldo Group is expanding its European presence into Italy with its first boutique in Rome, which opened last week, while a second is slated to open its doors in Milan on April 19.

Nicola Mangini, general director of Aldo Italy, said the decision to enter the Italian market was an easy one, as there was “an unfilled gap between the luxury and low-end shoe stores, apart from fast-fashion chains such as Zara.”
