“It was not such a drama, so it was fun to do,” is how Karl Lagerfeld summed up the collection, his second in collaboration with Hogan. Italian Sports in the Twenties was the l’air du temps that Lagerfeld was looking to in a tightly focused lineup of outerwear, shoes and bags. Typical puffy nylon jackets were given a facelift with abstract quilted pleats (which carried over to a boxy tote shape), zippers and an Eighties dolman sleeve shape. Of the four shoe styles, the standout was a wedge brogue reminiscent of the infamous graffiti artist Banksy.

"That's something that resonates with me too because I'm so locked into a number. If I go over that number it completely ruins my day so it's nice to get detached from the number on the scale." - Chelsea Handler on Kelly LeVeque's book "Body Love." #wwdeye (📷: John Salangsang)
