London was calling Sandra Choi, creative director of Jimmy Choo, whose collection was inspired by the city’s stylish rockers and the brand’s dandyish DNA. Her luxe, tactile collection included trainers made from a polka dot velvet in purple or amber, star-embossed green leather, William Morris-inspired rose prints, or floral-flocked leather. Skater shoes were lined with shearling.
For day, she tapped into the season’s Seventies vibe, making ultra-soft Chelsea ankle boots with zips at the sides, and Dr. Martens-inspired lace-ups with a glittery ruby sheen like the spray paint on a vintage Cadillac. For evening, there were tuxedo pumps with oversized bows, and slip-ons with a mismatched zebra print or velvet polka dots.
"I think that all anyone really wants in life is to have people understand us for who we actually are, despite everything," says Ruth Negga. The actress talks "Preachers" season 2 and more on WWD.com. #wwdeye (📷: Dan Doperalski)
"That's something that resonates with me too because I'm so locked into a number. If I go over that number it completely ruins my day so it's nice to get detached from the number on the scale." - Chelsea Handler on Kelly LeVeque's book "Body Love." #wwdeye (📷: John Salangsang)
