Tod’s put the spotlight on the Double Stripe collection, which comprised a wide selection of small leather goods and roomy totes showing new color combinations, such as white and orange or white and turquoise, as well as a mono-hue version in fruity cherry, pumpkin or blueberry. Also, a young and casual loafer in nubuk leather featured a thick turquoise rubber sole.

Valextra moved away from formal with the new K-Val Total Black jacquard line in a highly resistant and waterproof textured fabric made of Kevlar fiber and polyamide that can withstand 80,000 rubbings without fraying or tearing. The soft briefcases, sports bags and beauty cases are lined in brightly colored fabric, in hues such as fuchsia or acid green.

Church’s focused on the rubber sole for its spring collection, incorporating it into a new double-buckle model made from suede calf skin as well as its classic two-color, wing-tip shoes. Last year’s Stratford, which was previously a limited edition, was reintroduced, boasting an extra-thick, multistriped rubber sole.

Prints took center stage at Sergio Rossi, where collection director Angelo Ruggeri embellished a tassel-fringed, slip-on with a bicolored fern pattern and a ponyskin lace-up shoe with a zebra motif. The collection also included cool color-blocked fringed boat shoes and high-top sneakers mixing suede and exotic skins.

Presented in a mock-airport setting, the Hogan collection catered to a busy and globe-trotting man with a lineup of feather-light pumps that combined British style and functionality, adding a touch of color, including turquoise.

Inspired by the joyful lifestyle of Capri in the Sixties, Fratelli Rossetti combined white and blue to decorate its shoes, which included the company’s iconic Summer Brera tassel loafer that came in an intrecciato leather version.

For spring, Car Shoe injected a sporty touch into its signature driving boat style. Available in a wide range of colors, the calf shoe featured contrasting piping and a white profile on the upper shoe’s base.
