Bruno Frisoni’s latest limited-edition Rendez-Vous collection for Roger Vivier builds on another detail from the house’s archives — the 1954 Boule heel. In the form of a glittering disco ball, it appeared as a clasp on bags and on heels or the front of shoes.
Frisoni focused on evening clutches for this exotic collection, with shoes and jewelry playing a supporting role. The color palette was dominated by burgundy, forest green and black in a wealth of surface textures. Hundreds of silver and gold tubes adorned two clutches — one in anodized aluminum — and a matching pair of burgundy heels.
