“Fabulous. Creative. French. Vivier.” Those four words were featured in this season’s cheeky film at the Roger Vivier presentation. Indeed, during his tenure at the house, creative director Bruno Frisoni has packed a powerful punch with house signatures that range from classic buckles to the newer prism pattern. Naming his spring collection “Urban Summer,” Frisoni said “the city, not just the rocks and sea” were on his mind. Key shoes included a chunky wooden wedge (a stronger-than-usual silhouette for the brand) worked in vivid colors, as well as a sexy T-strap sandal that complemented his new boxy shaped bag. Frisoni added to his Prismick lineup with a mini-bag shape, a cutaway sandal and textures such as layers of leather, Plexiglas and sequins. For evening, coral, turquoise and mother-of-pearl adorned clutches and sandals, the latter of which Frisoni described as “jewelry for the feet.”
