Wild tights, lacy knee-highs, boyish tube socks and ruffled anklets are complementing stylish shoes and putting the normally bare legs of spring under wraps. “Most dresses will be short this season, so legs will die for attention,” says Betsey Johnson, whose runway show paired many spring party frocks with her own lace stockings and peep-toe heels. Warm-weather shoes and sandals were also gussied up on the catwalks of Chanel, Vivienne Westwood and Anna Sui for the season.
