Tuleste Market accessories, co-founded in 2007 by sisters Celeste and Satu Greenberg, is expanding its offerings to include shoes for spring.
The line consists of 11 styles, including wedges, pumps, platforms and lace-up brogues with a modern take on classic silhouettes. Tuleste shoes will retail from $295 to $425 at Shopbop.com. Each insole is infused with extra padding for improved comfort and wearability.
“We’ve been looking at footwear for a while and we noticed that there’s a void for well-priced, sexy designs that women can actually wear,” Celeste Greenberg said. “We wanted to make shoes that are for work and going out.”
Satu Greenberg said, “We are really hoping that the footwear aspect of our brand takes us to the next level with sales.”
The color palette is comprised of tan, blush, navy and black with pops of red. The duo maintains that their “out-of-the-box” details such as metal plating, rosettes and textured leathers give each style a contemporary kick.
“We really wanted to infuse our hardware and jewelry into the design of all the shoes,” Satu Greenberg said. “All of these small details really make it special.”
