“The design is on trend: minimal and classic,” said Kosuke Ushio, handbag buyer for Isetan Shinjuku. “It’s selling all over the world. A lot of celebrities are using it as well and it’s gotten a lot of exposure in magazines. Right now it’s popular with fashion people, but I think its appeal will really spread.”
