For fall, design director Rory O’Hanlon riffed on Smythson’s classic shapes and also introduced new ones to the mix. Among the highlights was the Soho Clutch. It looked just like Smythson’s traditional Soho diary, right down to the gold clip fastener and gilded edges that resembled pages. Another new model was the Berkeley bag. Named after the square in central London, the structured bag’s shoulder strap and handles were done in color combos including cognac and cobalt, cream and pink and khaki and yellow.
O’Hanlon has also introduced a capsule collection based on the brand’s signature Panama bag. These pieces came in black, white and gray, all lined with powder-pink suede.
Peter Kim's Los Angeles-based premium denim line has always had its finger on the pulse of youth. "I was driving back on Saturday afternoon from the beach, and I just saw this sign saying 'Skydiving for $95.' And I was like, I can't not sky dive for $95," says Tom Bateman about a moment in Hawaii while shooting "Snatched." #wwdeye (📷: @vsteves; Interview by @ktauer; Styled by @thealexbadia)
