Jeff Blauer has been named president and chief operating officer of U.S. umbrella maker ShedRain. Blauer, who will report to chief executive officer and chairman Stan Blauer, is responsible for managing the general activities of the company, as well as continuing to oversee business development and expansion. Most recently, the new president and chief operating officer served as executive vice president of business development at the 64-year-old company.
Blauer began his career as a national sales manager for specialty accounts with Calvin Klein. He became a senior account manager at CK before leaving to join Christian Dior as a regional sales representative. He later held a similar position at Alexander Julian.
