“I was very, very pleased, obviously,” Scaasi said.
A $90 fake diamond necklace was the first item to sell out. Imitation $32 pearls with sapphire-inspired clasps and a $45 imitation pearl bracelet were also top-selling styles.
Scaasi will be back on HSN at 4 p.m. and 11 p.m. on Feb. 6, when about 20 styles ranging from $18 to $95 will be featured. All of the baubles were inspired by the more than 100 designs he produced from 1958 to 1963 — the last time he made jewelry.
