Diesel is collaborating with Italian jewelry designer Ugo Cacciatore to create a jewelry collection for the holiday season.

Cacciatore joined with the Diesel creative team, headed by creative director Wilbert Das, in creating the collection, which is set to hit Diesel boutiques and select jewelry and specialty stores worldwide in September.
The Diesel Silver Jewelry holiday collection will be produced in Italy and distributed by Fossil, which holds the license for Diesel watches and jewelry. Retailing from $200 to $550, the pieces feature Cacciatore’s construction of shapes combined with a wide array of textures and oxidations. Each piece is hand carved in sterling silver with gold details and engraved symbols.
“As Diesel has always been a reference point for unique treatments and details in denim, it is amazing to see how Ugo’s designs fully reflect the same values, giving us the opportunity to translate all of this into jewelry,” said Renzo Rosso, president of Diesel, based in Molvena, Italy.
The collection includes chains and earrings with huge buckles and tiny charms, all exuding a vintage feel.
“The collaboration with Diesel is a crash of sensations,” Cacciatore said. “My personal interpretation of the brand philosophy reveals the close association with Renzo Rosso’s view of fashion, where research and innovation are the foundations of the process.”
