John Hardy, the Bali, Indonesia-based jewelry brand, plans to open as many as four flagships in the next five years, relaunch a high jewelry component and gain market share in the competitive fine jewelry arena.
Founder John Hardy left the company in July, selling his stake to president Damien Dernoncourt, creative director Guy Bedarida and the private equity group 3i. In January, Terri Eagle, president and chief executive officer of John Hardy USA, stepped down after an almost three-year stint. And last month, Mindy Grimes, a former Estée Lauder executive, was named president of John Hardy USA.
