Two fine jewelry firms are tuning in to TV home shopping.

Me&Ro and Stephen Dweck have partnered with HSN and QVC, respectively, on fashion jewelry collections. The designers are adding to the likes of Judith Ripka, Robert Lee Morris and Faraone Menella, all of whom have launched lower-priced lines via multichannel retail.

Me&Ro designer and chief executive officer Robin Renzi is introducing Robin by Me&Ro, airing on HSN on Tuesday. Made entirely of brass-plated silver and gold, the line is similar in aesthetic to Renzi’s luxury label in that it shares the same tribal and artisanal spirit found on Me&Ro’s signature Lotus Mandala pendant, and gold and flat diamond stackable rings. Fifteen styles comprise Robin by Me&Ro, including a three-row petal chain necklace, flower trinket pendant and hoop earrings, all retailing from $29.95 to $99.95.

“This is where the world seems to be taking us, where you can buy great design at a much lesser price,” Renzi said. “I’m excited to bring designs to a broader audience and I want people to hear it from me, what inspires me and why they inspire me.”

Headquartered in New York, Me&Ro is inspired by Far Eastern principles and symbols from nature, all detailed on tarnished 18-karat gold and sterling silver. The fine line is available at Barneys New York, Neiman Marcus and at its own stores in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago and Miami.

“We are constantly searching for exciting new discoveries to bring to our customers and we…welcome Robin to HSN,” said John Bosco, HSN’s senior vice president of jewelry merchandising. “She has translated the line beautifully into a collection that offers the same distinct look and appeal as her precious metal collection at a highly accessible price point.”

Jeweler and sculptor Stephen Dweck prides himself on curating through thousands of rare oversize rocks, minerals and gemstones to set into his amorphous sterling silver and bronze jewelry. But until now, his signature, 28-year-old label, in which many styles are one-offs, were only available at specialty stores such as Bergdorf Goodman. In his new line with QVC, Dweck is taking on accessibly priced diamonds in the collection, called Dweck Diamonds, which will make its debut on the network Oct. 27.

The line is QVC’s first designer diamond line and it is also Dweck’s first exclusive diamond collection.

“It’s diamonds done in a new way,” said Dweck. “It’s a new way to wear my jewelry.”

The line is more delicate than Dweck’s signature bold pieces, but it still has his stamp, with branchlike bangles of sterling silver studded with diamonds, double-link earrings of blackened silver with delicate diamonds, pendants with gold leaf details and statement earrings depicting concentric circles of silver flowers with diamond accents. The collection retails from $90 to $300 and will also be sold through

“I use nature as a theme,” said Dweck, who took up gardening after he learned that his mentor and sometime collaborator Geoffrey Beene was a horticulturalist. “I know how a branch should look and how flowers glisten in the morning light.”

QVC executive vice president and chief merchandising officer Doug Howe said this collection is especially distinctive for QVC.

“It’s going to be a unique differentiator for us…the diamonds are really going to be an accent,” said Howe. “[The line] is consistent with our strategy that it’s aspirational but affordable.”

Sales projections for the lines were not disclosed.
