“We hope to promote an extreme form of casual elegance,” says Dries Van Noten of his new semiprecious jewelry line. The creations juxtapose polished hunks of stone, like tiger-eye, jade, lapis, amethyst and malachite, with whimsical fabrics such as ribbons of shantung, organza and silk twill. Wide cuff bracelets feature sterling silver embroidery ($1,050 to $1,895, at Saks Fifth Avenue, New York, 212.SAKS.7527, and A’maree’s, Los Angeles, 949.642.4423).
