Tiffany & Co. has named Ralph Nicoletti as its next executive vice president and chief financial officer, effective April 2.
Nicoletti, 56, will report to chairman and chief executive officer Michael J. Kowalski.
Tiffany said its present cfo, James N. Fernandez, 58, has said he plans to retire in July. Fernandez, a 30-year veteran of the Tiffany, is also the company’s chief operating officer. The accessories firm plans to eliminate the position of chief operating officer upon Fernandez’s retirement.
Nicoletti joins Tiffany from CIGNA, where he holds the same positions. Before that he was executive vice president and cfo at Alberto Culver.
