Hermès Unveils Faubourg Watch: Hermès is launching its smallest timepiece yet, a ladies’ evening watch called Faubourg that was unveiled in Paris on Thursday.

Designed as jewelry, the 0.6-inch-wide watch is available in white, rose or yellow gold, with or without set diamonds, as well as either a gold bracelet or strap in satin or leather.

The watch — with quartz movement, white lacquered dial set and a diamond at 12 o’clock — is extremely lightweight. The gold bracelet, designed like a ribbon with a jewelry clasp, weighs just 22 grams.

Conceived by La Montre Hermès with input from its parent company’s design team, the Faubourg was named after the firm’s Paris flagship at 24 Rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré.

It will be carried in Hermès boutiques starting in May, priced between 4,900 euros and 12,500 euros, or $6,640 and $16,930 at current exchange.
