The Frenchman was previously executive vice president of Dom Pérignon within LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton, during which time he helped add luster to the Champagne brand through several high-profile advertising campaigns shot by Karl Lagerfeld.

Prior to that, Gaujac worked for advertising agency TBWA, where he was in charge of the international development of Absolut Vodka and developed Apple’s “Think Different” campaign.

“I have always worked with exceptional brands and products,” Gaujac said. “Rolex is an obvious choice for me today, since the constant quest for excellence and innovation has been a trademark of this brand for more than a century now.”
