PARIS — Stella McCartney wanted the models walking her show this season to look “a little tougher,” said Pat McGrath.

So the makeup artist ringed their eyes with a gray-taupe hue, which was winged out.

“We put the eyeliner on the inner corner slightly down and pulled out on the outside and underneath,” continued McGrath, who groomed eyebrows and kept skin natural looking.

Blown-dry straight hair was swept into a low- lying ponytail.

“It’s really about a very light texture,” said Eugene Souleiman, who called the look “pretty in a masculine kind of way.”
