PARIS — At Valentino, models’ hair was fashioned into a ponytail that had “a nod to the Sixties, because of [its] height on the crown,” explained Guido Palau. To achieve the look, he used Redken’s Velvet Gelatine. Coifs were topped off with a black headband.

Makeup artist Pat McGrath gave models a light, gray-brown smoky effect around the eyes and applied mascara to their top and bottom lashes.

She said key products included Cover Girl NatureLuxe Foundation, Mousse Mascara and lip balm.
