LONDON – Echoing the clean, architectural and masculine shapes at Nicole Farhi, makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury created a chic look with surreal finishes.

“It is almost like a mannequin-alien kind of look, where the skin looks plastic and perfected,” she explained.

Tilbury’s airbrushed vision was achieved by moisturizing the skin twice, even after having applied concealer, and also by dabbing Mac’s Gloss Texture on cheeks and eyelids for high-shine definition.

Lips were painted in dark scarlet using a mix of Mac’s Sin and Ruby Woo, while eyes were given depth with Mac’s Air Force Blue, a cream color base in steel gray.

Sam McKnight created an aerodynamic ponytail, using a mix of Frederic Fekkai’s spray gel and Bumble and Bumble’s spray lacquer to make it stiff, then snapping the elastic band and fanning the ponytail out, making it look like “a soft waterfall.”
