MILAN — Guns N’ Roses vocalist Axl Rose and his ex-girlfriend Stephanie Seymour inspired the beauty look at Versace for spring 2014.
Hairstylist Guido Palau said he mixed Rose’s “girl-boy androgyny” with “Los Angeles cool,” creating a center-parted look with a mist of Redken Powder Refresh 01.
Makeup artist Pat McGrath added a rock ’n’ roll accent with a defined eye. Black liner inked the lower lid waterline; black pencil traced the upper lash line; and black mascara defined upper lashes. A set of false lashes and false corner lashes were loaded on.
Skin was highlighted and a rosy-peach blush flushed the cheeks. Eyebrows were groomed and lips and eyelids were left nude.
