PARIS — “The makeup is rather graphic on the eyes,” Tom Pecheux said backstage before the Anthony Vaccarello show, where he used a small stencil to help craft a triangle shape over peepers.

Inspirational elements provided by the designer — a triangle, “minimal” and dark blue — were blended with Pecheux’s interpretation of Vaccarello’s fashions for the look.

Using color cosmetics from Estée Lauder, including a bit of Lucidity Translucent Loose Powder, Pecheux kept models’ skin transparent and natural. He chose for mouths the Pure Color Envy Lipstick in Insatiable Ivory that’s coming out in March 2014.

Hairstylist Anthony Turner said he wanted a sporty look, “like a girl in a hurry.”

Turner used L’Oréal Professionnel Tecni.art Full Volume Extra Mousse on models’ tresses, which were blown dry straight back. The brand’s Mythic Oil was applied for a shiny quality.

L’Oréal Professionnel Super Dust helped with the backcombing after which Turner ran hands through models’ hair.
