PARIS — The Balmain beauty look remained unadorned for the fall 2014 runway show, but with a “severe middle parting.

“She’s still fairly natural, but natural this season is a ponytail,” said hairstylist Sam McKnight.

To craft the style, McKnight used Oribe Dry Texturizing Spray and water.

“We’re trying to get a natural, un-brushed, lazy ponytail with a kind of structured front,” he added. “It’s very, very simple.”

Keeping in mind a “safari goddess,” makeup artist Tom Pecheux used a thin layer of foundation on models’ faces and slightly strengthened the look of their eyebrows.

Lips got a coating of ChapStick.
