The work of artist Egon Schiele inspired the fresh-faced makeup at Charles Anastase.
“Looking at Charles’ collection, there’s a lot of sheer fabrics. We wanted to mirror that with a sheerness to the skin,” said Sally Branka, who was working with MAC Cosmetics, adding she used MAC’s Sweet Orange and Lavender Face Oil to give skin a healthy glow. Blushcreme in Laid Back added a flush to cheeks, while Eye Kohl in Smolder and Eye Pencil in Indigo were used on eyes.
Coifs, meanwhile, showcased the natural texture of each models’ hair. To create the look, Lyndell Mansfield, who was working with L'Oréal Professionnel, massaged and scrunched Texture Expert Liss Ardent and Texture Expert Smooth Essence into dry hair.
For particularly fine hair, Tecni.art Playball Texture Tonic was used. Hair was then pinned up into haphazard topknots.
