PARIS — The inspiration for the beauty look at Chloé was “northern girls in England — how they dress when they go out, so we wanted to keep that boyish aspect,” explained Diane Kendal, backstage before the show.
Working with MAC Cosmetics, she applied a light-coverage foundation and filled in models’ eyebrows.
Hairstylist Anthony Turner called the coifs “very masculine, very androgynous. We wanted to kind of make the girls into these quite strong, kind of young boy characters,” he explained.
He crafted low side parts and low-slung ponytails. “This gives us a bit of femininity and a bit of youth to it, as well,” he added.
Key products employed were Tigi Catwalk Root Boost and a little Elnett hairspray from L’Oréal Paris.
