Cue a super minimal look with cheeks illuminated with NARS Skin Optimal Brightening Concentrate, and Copacabana Illuminator dotted on cheeks, nose, Cupid’s bow and temples.
Stone colored Mesopotamia was swept around eyes, which were further accentuated with a little brown pencil across the top right by the lash line. Brows were boyish and lips were swiped with three pinky nude shades according to each individual model’s skin tones.
Hairstylist Guido Palau was also championing individuality−Nineties style−and enhancing the natural look with very little product.
He asked models to wash their hair this morning so he could see what it was like in its natural state and dried it with a Babyliss dryer−using his fingers instead of a brush so he could really feel the texture of the hair. Movement was created with a curling iron.
“The collection is very designed with lots of different fabrics and we’re showing in a very contemporary space so if I pushed a hairstyle onto the girls it would feel really forced,” he explained. “It’s all about letting the clothes and the space and this really natural beauty do the talking.”
