A glowing, sexy woman who just spent a day at the beach was the beauty inspiration at DKNY. Makeup, by Maybelline, showed groomed brows with a tiny bit of mascara and just a touch of gold on eyelids and a bit of blush on cheek bones. Lips were painted with a new item by Color Sensational, Pop Stick, which delivered a sheer slick of color. Nail guru Essie Weingarten was backstage overseeing polish, which was an opaque shimmery nude, Brooch the Subject, new for fall and due out in November. Eugene Souleiman for Wella Professionals created long, sexy locks inspired by the rich colors and prints of the collection, which were worn with hats and had a French Riviera feel. To get the look Souleiman added extensions and roughly blow-dried the hair to create volume and body. Wella Professionals Ocean Spritz Beach Texture Spray was applied to dry hair, then wound into a low bun and pinned in place, using the hair as a roller by winding the hair back on its self. Heat was applied, then cooled from a dryer, and pins were removed to release the bun.
