PARIS — The clothes in Elie Saab’s fall 2014 collection and a Mark Rothko painting with burgundy and green-blue hues gave a cue for the makeup look of the show.
“I took the green-blue because I thought it was more flattering around the eyes,” said Tom Pecheux.
He added a bit of blush to cheeks, rosiness to lips and “a lot” of black mascara on top and bottom lashes, as well as eyeliner.
“I love women with eyebrows,” he said.
Tresses were meant to be reminiscent of horses’ manes.
“So [hair] has a beautiful quality, is thick, straight,” said hairstylist Luigi Murenu.
To get the texture, he applied Kérastase products, including Mousse Bouffante.
