MILAN — Backstage before the Etro show, makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury cited model Gisele Bündchen as the inspiration for the healthy glow and chocolate-colored eye that she created using MAC Cosmetics.
To warm models’ skin tone, a mix of Face and Body Foundation in C5 and C7 was applied with hands. For a rosy, sun-bronzed tan effect, cheeks got a swirl of In Extra Dimension Blush in Pleasure Model mixed with Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in Medium Dark.
On eyes, Tilbury employed a coffee-toned eye pencil to define the upper lash line, and top lashes were tinted with chocolate-brown-hued mascara. Brows were slightly brushed up and lightly filled in. Meanwhile, upper lids were loaded with Copper Beach Pro Sculpting Cream, which was then smudged along the lower lashes. At the last moment upper lids were dabbed with Eyeglass for a wet sparkle. Tilbury applied lip conditioner to mouths.
Finger- and toenails were painted with OPI’s Over the Taupe.
Eugene Souleiman conceived a center-parted, restrained coif for the show.
"I didn't want to make a visual statement; I didn’t want hair to feel like it had been referenced," he explained.
To achieve the look, he dabbed tresses with Wella Professionals Hydrate Finish spray moisturizer.
