Effortless chic was on offer at Jason Wu.
Diane Kendal, working with Lancôme at the show, created a classic look. “We wanted to celebrate their natural beauty,” she said. She prepped skin with Lancôme’s Visionnaire 1 Minute Blur Smoothing Skincare Instant Perfector. Next, she turned to the eyes, using Lancôme Artliner 24H on the top lash line only, and contouring with Blush Subtil Palette All-in-One Contour Blush & Highlighter in Rose Flush. After curling the lashes, Kendal filled in brows with Modele Sourcils Brow Groomer in Naturel. Lips got a light coat of L’Absolu Rouge La Base, while skin was finished with Translucence Mattifying Silky Pressed Powder.
“For the hair, we’re doing a very boyish look,” said Odile Gilbert, working at the show for Kérastase. Gilbert began by working Kérastase mousse into the hair, slicking the sides back and forming a “messed-up chignon” at the back of the head with visible bobby pins. She used her fingers to wave the hair a bit toward the top of the head for movement, finishing with plenty of Kérastase Laque Couture hairspray.
