PARIS — Stanley Kubrick and India served as inspirations for Aaron de Mey at the Kenzo show, where the makeup artist noted a lot of eye prints on the label’s clothing.

“So that is why we wanted to bring all the focus to the eyes,” said de Mey, who worked with MAC Cosmetics. Models’ bottom lids were rimmed in black.

Hairstylist Anthony Turner described the coifs as having “a very cool, downtown, easy, nonchalant kind of look.”

Hair was parted low to the side, since “I wanted to bring a little bit of masculinity to it, as well,” he explained. Tresses hung loose, behind models’ ears.

“I was inspired by skater boys,” continued Turner. “That’s where my initial idea came from.”

He used Moroccanoil Curl Control Mousse and Luminous Hairspray.
