MILAN — "Inspiration came from Miuccia, who sees things in a cinematic way so the look is noir, although not tied to an era," said hairstylist Guido Palau, referencing Prada's designer, Miuccia Prada.

Palau created a wet look, "drenched and melancholy, like a girl fresh from the shower," with hair swept to the side, over the eye. Using Redken products, wet hair was sectioned and saturated with Guts 10 Volume Spray Foam and run through with a wide-toothed comb. Diamond Oil was sprayed on ends.

Makeup artist Pat McGrath was inspired by the runway stage's shadow-play, which she referenced through stained traces of make up. Eyes were dabbed with grey, smoky shadows and lips were darkened with berry-stained lipstick and then wiped away. Mascara finished the lashes. Nails went nude-tone with a polish of Leighton Denny in Starkers.
