Gucci Westman, global artistic director for Revlon, kept makeup at Rag & Bone fresh and minimalistic, since spring’s 2012 collection “is basically all about the clothes.” She created a face for the girl just back from vacation, which virtually all the models walking the show were, so Westman said she simply enhanced their glows with a bit of peach or terra-cotta or nude powder. “I’m enhancing them, not changing them. There’s no tricky eye or color lip. It’s about them, the designers.” Some of Westman’s go-to’s included Revlon’s Super Lustrous Lipstick in Demure and Silver City Pink. Eyes were enhanced with Revlon’s new 16H eye shadow in Addictive. Nails, which were created by Jin Soon for Revlon, were painted in Smoky Canvas and Hazy. Hair by Guido for Redken was effortlessly chic with middle parts and manes that had been “crinkled” with the use of Sultra’s limited edition Wicked Gold Decadence Iron.
