Diane Kendal, lead artist for MAC, created a natural, “fresh” look that starred a softly defined eye and tone-on-tone cheek contouring.

Kendal used MAC Teddy Eye Kohl on the upper and lower lash line, and then smudged it with a Q-tip dipped in moisturizer. A thin stroke of MAC Black Crème Liner was applied with a brush on the upper lash line only. Lips were given a coat of Lip Conditioner SPF, then dabbed with Studio Finish Concealer to create a buff, nude pout.

After being moisturized, complexions were evened-out with Studio Finish Concealer (where needed) for a natural finish. Contour was added under the jawbone with Chestnut Pro Sculpting Cream and Britwit Crèmeblend blush was blended over cheeks for a “fresh” feel. Brows were groomed, lashes curled and no mascara was used.

Guido Palau, lead hairstylist for Redken, created soft waves to complement the natural, structural faces. After brushing hair and spraying it with water, Palau created a crisp, deep part to the crown of the head. He then used Spray Start 15 Versatile Ironing spray and a one-inch curling iron to create soft “bends” throughout the hair. Redken’s new Shine Flash 02 Glistening Mist, which launches in April, was applied to the whole head for extra sheen.
