PARIS — “We are doing lots of lashes, big lashes,” Luciana Pieroni, who was working with Clé de Peau Beauté products,” said at the Rochas show on Wednesday.
In fact, each model sported three sets, which were cut in half and applied to both the bottom and top lids. Some parts slightly crossed over, so the middle of the lashes was somewhat denser than on either side, then lots of mascara was applied.
She described the effect as doll-like.
Touches of taupe shading and a pink, sparkly highlight were applied to eyes. Lips were given a nude hue.
For his part, hairstylist Luigi Murenu — using Kérastase products, such as the Mousse Bouffante — crafted what he called a “very smooth hairstyle.”
“It seems natural in the front, but actually you have beautiful waves, quality waves,” he continued, adding they’re modern, since the ends of models’ hair was kept straight — with not a ringlet in sight.
“The hair looks very clean, very smooth, with very few flyaways,” he said. “It moves very well on the catwalk.”
A tinge of gloss was added for sheen.
