PARIS — For the Stella McCartney show, makeup artist Pat McGrath groomed models’ brows and licked mascara in black on top lashes and brown on the bottom ones.

“I would say it gives the eyes a bit of a flick,” she said backstage, adding that the look overall was “just very Stella, fresh.”

Hairstylist Eugene Souleiman called the coifs — which entailed hair being swept across heads in a rather “square” fashion and also an askew ponytail — “more handsome. What we’re doing is this kind of almost men’s groomed look, but with a matte texture.”

That was achieved using Wella’s Ocean Spritz Beach Texture Hairspray.
