LONDON — "We're painting color and line onto the face. It's bonkers, painterly, and humorous," said Val Garland for MAC.  Garland made a kabuki base for features, and then drew on acrylic paints in primary tones. Models' nails were airbrushed with dusky rose paint that extended up the fingers.

Mark Hampton for Toni&Guy orchestrated the hair, which he described as "Almost a little bit Madonna. She's a powerful, super sexual, glamorous, and luxurious woman."

He prepped the hair with Toni&Guy Glamour Spritz 7 Shine Liquid Mousse and Volume Pumping Whip before tonging it and pinning the curls to set for 45 minutes with section clips. Once the curls were cool, they were
brushed out and disheveled before the front section was teased and brushed back into place.
