The beauty look was inspired by Eugene Von Bruenchenhein's Fifties photographs of his wife.

The beauty look was inspired by Eugene Von Bruenchenhein’s Fifties photographs of his wife. James Boehmer for Nars translated the surrealist Fifties prints by creating a red-orange lip and an opalescent eye, while Odile Gilbert for Kérastase fashioned a tiny braid at the nape of the neck to serve as an anchor for a faux barrette made out of a twisted strand of hair.
