Definitely Net a Porter. Especially when I am traveling, I love to read articles and shop. It makes me feel close to home and I get something done. When I am home, I love the same-day delivery— instant gratification at its best.

I could live inside Liberty of London on Regent Street. There is a grandeur and history about the store, paired with their unique editorial style of merchandising that puts strong focus on niche, artisanal brands. The store combines a feeling of calm oasis with an excitement, sense of wonder and discovery at every turn. I get irretrievably lost in this world whenever I visit. Give me Liberty or give me death!
Regent Street, London
One of my favorite stores is Vitra, which is a design store in the Meatpacking district. I love Vitra because it invokes great emotion with its fantastic innovation and very contemporary and unexpected designs.
29 Ninth Avenue, New York
Founder, Lipstick Queen
To this day, Barneys remains my favorite store. Whether it’s Bill Cunningham standing outside catching the fashion or Tyler on the fragrance counter, whom I have known for 20 years, Barneys has that rare mix of cultural icon, modern interpretation and lust-inducing, perfectly edited merchandise. I have a feeling E.B. White would have loved Barneys for the same reasons—he did say, after all, that New York is not just a city, it’s a goal…same with Barneys!
660 Madison Avenue, New York
Co-President, Oribe Hair Care
My favorite store in New York is a hidden gem called De Vera. It has the most extraordinary collection of curated art, pottery, jewelry and more…it’s like a museum. It’s not for everyone, but I love looking at all of the antique artifacts— you can tell they were chosen by someone with an excellent eye. I bought my wife, Sonia, an incredible necklace from the Philippines there. The store is a real jewel box.

I could spend hours and hours in ABC Carpet & Home. They carry items that I fantasize about for home, design and more. Not only do they have home items that I love, but also jewelry, clothing and Dr. Lipman’s Be Well products. I also leave with incredible color inspiration for work, as an added bonus.
888 Broadway, New York
President, Chief Executive Officer, Gurwitch Products
My favorite style boutique is “Jose Parron,” although the official name of the store is Barneys on Madison Avenue. Jose is my personal stylist and always knows exactly what I am looking for or what I have in mind—he is style-intuitive and always makes me look my best. It is because of our relationship and his outstanding service that I am a loyalist.
