LONDON — Burberry Prorsum’s backstage was transformed into a biker den, albeit a very chic one.
She’s a Burberry biker girl,” said hairstylist Neil Moodie, of the understated look he created for models. “I worked on the idea that she’s a cool Burberry girl who is out on her motorbike. She takes off her helmet and shakes out her hair.” Since Burberry girls are apparently not afflicted by the dreaded “helmet head” that their fellow cyclists and motorists encounter when removing their protective headgear, Moodie worked locks into a flowing center-parted style. He used Bumble and bumble Prep and Thickening Hairspray through the ends. Straightening irons flattened hair slightly.
Wendy Rowe concocted an understated makeup look with items from the Burberry Beauty color collection.
“We’re doing a sultry eye and fresh skin,” she said.
Rowe used eye shadow in shades including Rosewood, Khaki and Almond to create a deep-set look for peepers. Cheeks were sculpted with a taupe hue, while hints of foundation and blush dabbled on lips.
