MILAN — Undone hair and smoky eyes created a casual, cool look at Versace’s spring show. Hairstylist Guido Palau, using all Redken products, slathered damp hair with Guts 10 Volume Spray Foam and made a messy center part.

After the hair was rough-dried, Powder Refresh 01 was brushed through and ends were trimmed to the shoulders. Hair was gathered into a knot and secured with pins at the base of the neck. “It’s undone hair, for the summer, dusty and desert-sourced,” Palau said.

Makeup artist Pat McGrath made “a classic, smoky eye” with black and brown pencil smudged around the eye and lid and topped with shimmer. Satiny foundation and a bit of cream blush highlighted the face’s contours.

Lips were dabbed with foundation to knock down pink tones and then slicked with lip balm for a casual, low-maintenance look. Mascara was used on lashes to build richness, not length.  Taupe-colored fingernails matched toenails in Revlon 030 Grey Suede.
