PARIS— Groupe Clarins on Monday night held a birthday bash at the Théâtre Marigny here to celebrate the 15th year of its Femme Dynamisante prize, which recognizes a woman who dedicates herself to improving the lives of children.
The award was granted to Lisa Lovatt-Smith, a former Vogue fashion director who has spent the last decade helping children in Ghana through her association OrphanAid Africa. Today, more than 250 children are involved in her organization, which she began at the age of 35 after a trip to the country with her adopted daughter.
