“It’s a modern, cool Brigitte Bardot,” said hairstylist Luigi Murenu of the textured, side-parted coif he created and bound with a low-slung ribbon for Givenchy’s fall-winter fashion show.

To help achieve the look, Murenu used John Frieda’s volume-enhancing mousse and hairspray.

Makeup artist Pat McGrath concocted striking, three-dimensional red, sparkly mouths and eyes awash in a lighter red tone. Models’ eyebrows were bleached and their skin kept natural looking.

“It is very decadent, very beautiful,” said McGrath.
