Antonio Corral Calero for Moroccanoil emphasized the richness of healthy hair. “They wanted something quite simple,” said Corral Calero, “but still a bit elaborate.” He prepped the hair with Moroccanoil Treatment to condition and add a natural shine. Then, Corral Calero applied Root Boost directly at the roots and used Volumizing Mousse on the rest of the hair for body. After making a deep side part, he blow-dried one-inch vertical sections using a round brush, which were rolled over the head downward and pinned. Next, he sprayed Luminous Hairspray Strong throughout the hair, let it set, then removed the pins and brushed the hair back and behind the ears. To finish, Corral Calero used a curling iron to add a subtle bounce. “I call it the perfect blowout,” he said. “It’s a girl that’s a little bit more made up.”
To complement the hair, Charlotte Tilbury for MAC Cosmetics created a slick cat eye with fresh, dewy skin. “They wanted something very fresh-faced,” said Tilbury, “but with a little twist.” She used Studio Sculpt Foundation to even out the skin tone. Then, Tilbury applied Crushed Cranberry Lipstick on the cheekbone to give it a flush of red. Eyes were treated with Feline Eye Kohl and layered with Black Track Fluidline. Brows were the brushed up and lips were topped with Lip Conditioner.
