PARIS — “They’re going to look like very beautiful dark creatures of the night,” said hairstylist Luigi Murenu of models at Viktor & Rolf fashion show. He added the look was “very luscious, very chic.”
Murenu created light waves on each side of heads, while the rest of models’ hair hung straight.
“So we have a sense of hardness and softness at the same time,” he explained. One key product used was John Frieda Frizz-Ease Thermal Protection serum.
“The look is a Gothic elegance,” said makeup artist Pat McGrath. She painted models’ lips a fuchsia-burgundy hue, while eyelids got a sweep of light gray shadow. Skin was kept pale with a tinge of pink highlights.
Alberta Ferretti's "Rainbow Week" sweaters are back. The designer closed her #MFW show with a few day-of-the-week sweaters, which first debuted on the catwalk last January as part of the pre-fall 2017 collection. #wwdfashion (📷: @delphineachard)
